Those words above are the Motto for my book, “Scandal in the Shadows The Original Priest, Mother Mary.”  I knew if I was going to be uncovering a centuries-old Scandal of the Catholic Church, involving lies, deceit, and cover-up, then I needed to be sure that the specific material I was presenting was beyond reproach. This subject itself is a very controversial one indeed, so I basically had to be sure that I indeed was speaking the actual truth here, rather than some conjecture on my part.                                                  

 Authenticity

I was a guest on Dare To Be Authentic Radio, with Mari Mitchell. In so many words she asked me, why Authenticity played such an important role in relationship to my book? When I initially realized that I had been lied to by my own Church hierarchy, about women priests early church history it indeed, was a very personal betrayal of my trust. I told her Authenticity was everything in regards to Scandal in the Shadows. My conscience was the driving force behind me writing my book, to begin with, and it literally serves as a vehicle, if you will, that enables me to get out the real truth to Catholics whether here in the United States, as well world-wide, whose trust also has been betrayed by their own Church.

Why exactly is it acceptable for the Catholic Church Hierarchy to have lies and deceit as part and parcel of their Ministry, while Jesus’ own Ministry represented His truth and unquestionable honesty? Searching for the truth surrounding women’s religious past church history led me on this specific journey but then to end this journey with the special discovery of Mary Priest, as Mary Mother of God was wonderfully precious.

When you have Authentic truth behind you, it allows you to truly speak from your heart.
