I was on Nigel Beckles Podcast and he asked me, “how do you raise awareness on this issue?” When I first personally realized that my own Church had lied to me, I was left to grapple with this unsettling fact. I wondered what could possibly be behind one’s Church’s, necessitating such behavior toward any women whether it be the Women Religious or the Laity of our Church? Normally lying is generally associated with trying to hide or cover-up something. So then what exactly was my Church covering up from any women in this Church?

The Catholic Church Hierarchy Never Acknowledges Early Past Church History

What exactly did this particular time frame in Church history hold? Why wasn’t this history never being acknowledged, let alone being disclosed? A real mystery indeed!

If we could discover the closets holding these particular Skeletons, what would they reveal to us after all? It turns out that this specific time frame in early Church history,

included specifically women’s different priestly positions in our Church, from being Women Bishops, Women Deacons and Women Priests.

Raising Awareness on Women’s Discrimination in the Church 

My conscience was the force for me to originally write my factual book, “Scandal in the Shadows The Original Priest – Mother Mary.” I was one Catholic, out of too few Catholics worldwide, who have no conception of this lie and what that has meant in regards to their own faith life. Their own religious heritage was literally taken away from them by past Church Fathers. Yet, today’s hierarchy will contend that we can’t create a new tradition, in regards to the question of allowing women to become Priests in our Church. There really is no need to create something new when Women Priests were already in existence in our early Church’s history.
