The Catholic Church’s History of Women Priests

I was a guest on the “Social Psychic Radio Show” with host Jason Zuk, and I had been discussing the past history of Women Priests in the Catholic Church. Jason asked me, “how could it be, the historical record has been whitewashed to prevent the public from knowing the truth”? Indeed, in every sense, this hidden history of women priests is right there in our church’s historical records. Unfortunately, for any lady in the Catholic Church, your church hierarchy saw fit, that these records never see the light of day. Literally out of mind, out of sight. When the Church deems something no longer needed, it basically is no longer mentioned. So the scribes would no longer need to mention that real, though now past, church history of women priests.

Another question he posed to me was,” what has made you challenge the Catholic Church on the ordination of women in the Church? When I personally learned the factual truth of women priests, let alone, Mary Mother of God, being a priest herself, I immediately was hit with the awful realization, that my Church had lied to me as well as any other women in this Church. Maybe, you also during your lifetime, have approached a priest, asking in our church’s history, were there ever women priests? If anything was ever more definitive coming down from Rome or your Pastor, women definitely had never been priests in the Catholic Church. And that is where you feel that awful, personal, betrayal of your trust. Would Jesus have lied to those He ministered to? Then why does our Church’s hierarchy do just that?

Lastly, Jason, inquired, “how do you think Catholics listening to this show, who have a deep desire to hold the church accountable, how do you think they should respond when they hear this information? First, I want them to personally get in touch with their own emotions, regarding how their church sadly continues on lying to them. I want them to let their conscience be guided by Jesus’ own actions. He certainly didn’t keep quiet, he instead openly spoke out against the church officials of his own time. And even church law allows Catholics to speak out on matters of importance. The only way things will ever change is when the laity finally hears the real truth of our church’s past history, join together, and demand the hierarchy of the church, to be held accountable for keeping any women away from their own religious heritage of becoming a woman priest today in the Catholic Church.
